Theresa McKirdy

Theresa McKirdy is a self-taught artist who has been drawing and painting since she was a young child.  Countless hours spent outside exploring nature has sparked a lifelong connection and love of the natural world. She is currently living and working in the coastal city of Perth and the ocean is of significant interest and is a primary focus of her acrylic paintings. As an artist and observer her goal is to capture its many moods and variations in colour depending on the time of day or weather. Theresa also enjoys capturing people’s interactions with the ocean and aims to recreate the feelings of joy that this interaction brings in her bright and cheerful work.
